A pressure sensor, also called a pressure transmitter, is an electrical equipment which can measure a fluid’s pressure and converts it to an output signal. The fluid’s pressure would be applied to the sensor’s sensing element, which differs from a sensor to another based on its working principle. There are components inside the device that convert the applied pressure into a signal. This signal can be voltage, current, etc. There are different types of pressure sensor in the market, such as differential pressure sensors, flush diaphragm pressure sensors, vacuum pressure sensors, etc. to meet any pressure measurement needs.
