Inductive Sensor
A proximity sensor detects metallic objects without contact. These inductive proximity sensors differ in:
- Sensing distance: 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, etc.
- Sensing side diameter: M4, M5, M8, M12, M18, M30, etc.
- Head type: Shielded (flush) proximity sensor or unshielded (non-flush) proximity sensor
- Switching function: NO and NC, PNP and NPN Proximity sensor
This kind of cylindrical proximity sensor is used in less challenging applications. Some examples are beverage container packaging, automatic drilling machines, and shoe rubber press machines.
Some premium quality series related to this category are cylindrical proximity sensor PR Series and cylindrical inductive sensor PRD Series. Check the following link to see other series pages of Autonics proximity sensor.
