Hogller PX3 Series: Precision Pressure Sensors for Demanding Applications

Low Response Time, 316L Stainless Steel Body, 0.5% FS Accuracy

 

The PX3 series features a compact, all-welded stainless steel design for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Both wetted and non-wetted parts are constructed from 316L stainless steel for compatibility with even the most aggressive media. The standard NBR sealing element ensures leak-tight operation, with FKM and Cuprum options available for high-temperature or chemically demanding applications.

Body

  • Non-wetted parts: Constructed from durable stainless steel 316L and nylon, the PX3 series is resistant to corrosion, abrasion, and harsh chemicals.
  • Wetted parts: Made from high-quality stainless steel 316L, the pressure sensor's wetted parts are built to withstand demanding media.
  • Sealing element: Choose from NBR (standard), FKM, or Cuprum sealing elements to suit your specific application needs.

Pressure Measuring Range

This series offers a wide variety of pressure measuring ranges, catering to diverse application needs:

  • Absolute pressure ranges start from 0...250 mbar and extend to 0...25 bar
  • Gauge pressure ranges cover 0...250 mbar to 0...250 bar and -1...0 bar to -1...24 bar

Process Connection

The Hogller PX3 series provides several process connection options for flexible integration into your system. Standard options include G1/4"A1/4"NPT, M20x1.5, and R1/4", with other threads available upon request.

Electrical Connection

Output

This pressure transmitter series transmits pressure readings in a variety of industry-standard analog outputs, including 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, and 0.5-4.5 VDC. This ensures compatibility with most data acquisition systems and controllers.

Long Term Stability

The PX3 series boasts exceptional long-term stability, with a typical value of ≤±0.1%FS per year. For even more demanding applications, versions with ≤±0.2%FS/year stability are available upon request.

Response Time

This series delivers impressive response times, making it suitable for dynamic pressure measurements. For fluids with a viscosity less than 100 cSt, the response time is less than 4 milliseconds, while for gases it is less than 35 milliseconds.

Accuracy

The PX3 series sets the bar for accuracy, with a typical value of ≤±0.5%FS at 25°C. For applications demanding even greater precision, versions with ≤±0.25%FS accuracy are available.

Temperature

The PX3 series operates reliably across a wide temperature range, withstanding:

  • Media temperatures of -30°C to 85°C
  • Ambient temperatures of -30°C to 85°C
  • Storage temperatures of -40°C to 100°C
