Vacuum pressure sensor

Vacuum pressure sensor- to measure pressure without any comparison

A vacuum pressure gauge measures liquid and gas pressure. In many processes, pressure is measured relative to ambient pressure. In other words, the pressure that the pressure gauge measures is the difference between the process pressure and the atmospheric pressure.

In the vacuum method, the pressure is measured in an absolute manner without comparison with the atmospheric pressure. Therefore, approximately 760 mm of mercury below the atmosphere is absolutely zero pressure. The vacuum pressure gauge starts the measurement from absolute zero and measures the pressure values with different degrees and with different accuracies. Vacuum pressure ranges are categorized as follows:

  • low vacuum

  • medium vacuum

  • high vacuum

  • ultra-high vacuum

The vacuum pressure gauge includes the Bordoni vacuum manometer, capsule vacuum gauge, and diaphragm vacuum pressure gauge.
