DAT4235ISA from Datexel is an Intrinsically Safe Isolated Signal converter that is a Din Rail mount signal converter with PC programmability. The input can be thermocouple, RTD, mA, V, mV, resistance or potentiometer. The DAT4235ISA will linearize the input and provide a 4-20mA or voltage output signal.

The DAT4235ISA is accurate to 0.1% full-scale and has less than 0.01%/°f thermal drift. It is programmable by PC based software which has been developed by DATEXEL to be user-friendly. For resistance, and RTD sensors, it is possible to program the cable compensation for 3 or 4 wires.

It is possible to set the minimum and maximum values of the input and output range at any point of the scale, keeping the minimum span shown in the Data Sheet. Also, high burn out alarm or low burn out alarm is selectable. The DAT4235ISA is isolated between the power supply and the input/output to 2000V, eliminates the effects of any ground loops and allows the use of the transmitter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications. The DAT4235ISA is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.

The DAT4235 is able to measure and linearize the standard thermocouples with internal cold junction compensation.
