M-740 AC/DC Clamp Milliammeter (CE)

The M-740 AC/DC Clamp Milliammeter (CE) is a leakage current measuring instrument designed for measuring low-level AC and DC currents using a 40 mm clamp current transformer (CT). It provides DC measurement ranges of 100 mA and 1000 mA, along with AC measurement ranges of 100 mA, 1000 mA, and 10 A.

The M-740 offers a minimum resolution of 0.01 mA for low-current measurements and features zero adjustment for DC current measurement. Its separate clamp CT allows current measurement without disconnecting the conductor, while the DC analog output of 100 mV full scale on each range enables connection to external recording equipment. The instrument also supports data hold and automatic power-off, with safety ratings of CAT II 600 V and CAT III 300 V.
