A Wireless System for Monitoring Groundwater
Due to population growth, scattered groundwater locations, water loss, water pollution, and drying of lakes, the volume of groundwater has decreased in recent years. Therefore, for better management of these environmental resources, we need to monitor them.
A wireless monitoring system is designed for remote monitoring and control of groundwater. This system measures the temperature, level, and quality of water for a long time and is equipped with GPRS. The data is stored automatically and transferred to the database along with their graphs. One of the advantages of this system is its low cost.

The system Topology of the Groundwater Monitoring System includes sensing, transmission, and system application. The key products consist of a level & temperature & water quality transmitter, Internet remote server, power supply, remote monitoring terminal, and System integration box.
A special system is designed, which is solar-powered including a solar battery board, accumulator, and the solar controller for those local sites where nobody is on duty for a long time.
4. Products and Platform Involved in this System
4.1 A Remote Monitoring Terminal, which is powered by a battery.
It connects to level transmitter and temperature transmitter with 0~200mH2O range and 0.25%FS accuracy optional. This terminal works as a component to collect and transfer data.
4.2 A Hydraulic Monitoring System, which is powered by Solar.
It consists of a GPRS data terminal unit, accumulator, solar battery board, and solar controller.
4.3 Sensor Data Platform
It runs on PCs and mobile phones, usable for monitoring data in real-time and checking history data in curves and graphs.
