Measuring Various Parameters of Sewage Treatment

MBR membrane bioreactor integrated equipment is used for raising the capacity of sewage treatment and increasing treatment efficiency in sewage treatment plants. Thanks to this equipment, the effluent can be reused directly.

For automatic control and energy saving, it is critical to measure the level of the wastewater treatment equipment pool, the pipeline pressure and the inlet sewage flow. Flowmeters used to measure wastewater flow must have high accuracy (0.5%) and be resistant to corrosive wastewater environment. It should also be borne in mind that the location for set up of these flow meters is tougher and the straight pipe is short.

Integrated electromagnetic flow meters are recommended for this purpose.

The sensor component of these flow meters just have the lining and the electrode in touch with the medium. The electrodes and lining materials are elective and as long as the electrode and the lining material are appropriately chosen with corrosion resistance and wear resistance, it can be ensured for long-time period use.

Alternatively, the MFE600 electromagnetic flow meter is simply set up. The straight pipe length needed for the sensor is short, typically 5D in front of the flow meter, and 3D at the back of it (D: the inner diameter of the chosen device).  Measurement done by these flow meters is not affected by fluid temperature, density, pressure, and viscosity.

 The sensor induced voltage signal has a linear relationship with the average flow rate, and the measurement accuracy is high.

There isn't any obstruction and moving elements in the measuring tube, no extra energy loss, blockage, and it is power saving.

 There isn't any mechanical inertia with excessive sensitivity that can degree instantaneous pulsating flow.


It is recommended to use special pressure transmitters to measure the pressure of the pipeline, which are used in geological, hydrological, petroleum, chemical and electrical industries, and to use special surface transmitters to measure the water pool level, which are two-wire 4mA - They have 20mA DC output, are lightweight and small, and are made entirely of stainless steel.

Finally, it is recommended to use wireless remote monitoring terminal for wireless transmission. These terminals are IP68 rated, equipped with batteries, are very low consumption, are suitable for learning and collect and store data in various applications.
