Product Overview

The DAT5025 is an advanced isolated converter engineered to translate the output from strain gauge or bridge sensors into a linear and proportional voltage or current signal. This device is fully programmable, allowing users to set the bridge excitation voltage, input, and output ranges using DIP switches accessible via a side panel. Fine-tuning the zero and span values is made easy with potentiometers located on the top of the device. Its robust design includes 2000 Vac galvanic isolation, making it ideal for challenging industrial environments.

Installation Guidelines

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of the DAT5025, it is recommended to install the device vertically on a DIN rail. Maintain at least a 5 mm gap between adjacent units if the panel temperature exceeds 45°C, especially under overload conditions. Avoid obstructing ventilation slits and keep the device away from heat sources and vibrations. For signal connections, use shielded cables and avoid routing near power cables.
