Pressure Transmitter for Aerial Work Platform

An aerial work platform (AWP), also known as a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), "cherry picker" or "scissor lift" is a mechanical device used to provide temporary access for people to inaccessible areas at height.

When operating the platform, the operator will control the hydraulic pumps to lift or lower the platform by adding or reducing pressure to the hydraulic system.

A MEWP can be overloaded by adding too much weight to the platform on the ground or during elevating. Either condition will result in the disabling of platform motion or more serious cases that threaten the safety of operator.
