The Contrinex proximity sensor DW-AD-608-M18 features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Contrinex. This 2 wire proximity sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 5mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of M18, and shield (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body

This Contrinex proximity sensor's case and nut parts are made of Chrome-plated brass and its sensing side is made of PBTP (Crastin).

The DW-AD-608-M18 features IP67 ingress protection.

Connection

The Contrinex proximity sensor DW-AD-608-M18 features standard cable type connection. This cable covers the sensor's 2 wires. It is 2 meters in length, and is made of PVC.

Sensing specifications

This inductive sensor's sensing side diameter is 18 mm. This sensor's maximum distance to detect its standard sensing target, which is a 18x18x1 mm piece of iron, is 5 mm.
