The FT 55-RLAM-480 / FT 55-RL2AM-480 Distance Sensors feature a repeatability of up to 0.06 mm and a switching hysteresis of 1.2 mm, which enables smart part detection even at large distances. They also have a linearity of 0.6 mm and a velocity of 1000 Hz.

The FT 55-RLAM-480 / FT 55-RL2AM-480 Distance Sensors communicate via IO-Link and have a cubic type. They use a red laser light source (Class 1) and have two switching outputs. The resolution of the sensors is 0.03 mm and the temperature range is -20°C to +50°C.
