Autonics MP5Y-41 Digital Panel Meter

The Autonics MP5Y-41 is a 5-digit digital panel meter with a 7-segment LED display and 14 mm character height. It supports 16 measurement operation modes, including frequency, revolutions, speed, cycle, time, ratio, density, error, length measurement, interval, accumulation, and addition/subtraction. The unit supports voltage input (PNP) and no-voltage input (NPN) and operates from a 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power supply.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the maximum 50 kHz input frequency apply to every input and operation mode?

No. Solid-state input 1 supports up to 50 kHz, while solid-state input 2 supports up to 5 kHz. For F7, F8, F9, and F10 operation modes, the maximum is 1 kHz. Contact input supports up to 45 Hz.

Does the measurement range stay the same for all operation modes?

No. The applicable range depends on the selected operation mode. F1, F2, and F7–F10 use 0.0005 Hz to 50 kHz; F3–F6 use 0.01 to the maximum of each time range; F11–F13 and F16 use 0 to 99,999; and F14–F15 use -19,999 to 99,999.

Is measurement accuracy the same across all operation modes?

No. The datasheet specifies F.S. ±0.05% rdg ±1 digit for F1, F2, and F7–F10, and F.S. ±0.01% rdg ±1 digit for F3–F6. It does not provide an accuracy value in the supplied datasheet for F11–F16.

Is the Hirose connector socket supplied with the MP5Y-41?
