Special Remote Transmitters for Flood Warning Systems
As the Earth's climate changes, the probability of unexpected events such as floods increases, and at the same time, the human ability to predict such events decreases. Of course, there are special maps that identify danger zones. But those maps are not good enough for predicting flood danger and giving the necessary warnings. This requires an IoT solution. This solution must be able to predict floods more accurately and sound the alarm for the police and emergency services.
New systems have been designed for this purpose, including a remote transmitter and an autonomous data recorder. If a level sensor or a pressure transmitter is used along with this system, the system will be able to transmit water level and pressure data via FTP, email or SMS to the relevant organs.
After implementing this system, manually positioned mobile barriers can also be replaced with swing gates that close when a flood occurs.
Data transmission units of this system has been replaced with a modified form.
One of the places where this system is used is the US National Weather Service (NWS).
