Span Output

Output Span is the output signal for the specified operating pressure range. It is the difference between the minimum and maximum output signals of a pressure sensor. For sensors without internal voltage reference the span is ratiometric to the supply voltage of the sensor. Changes in the supply voltage to the sensor will result in a change in output span for the pressure applied. The span is the difference in output signal at full scale pressure from the offset voltage.
