Output Impedance

Output Impedance is the impedance across the output terminals of a transducer presented by the transducer to the associated external circuitry. It is what is seen when looking into the pressure transmitter circuitry from the output end.

The maximum power transfer from a source to a load is usually achieved when the load impedance matches the source impedance.
