Dry Cell

Dry cell refers to any pressure sensing technology which excludes any fluid filled components.

The advantages of a dry cell pressure sensor are:

• More sensitive and responsive to measuring low pressures
• No risk of oil contamination if the containment isolation diaphragm fails.
• Compact size
• Lower cost of manufacture
