The DAT10024 is equipped with both passive and active outputs. Passive output occurs when the output requires an external 24 Vdc supply to start up. The same as a two-wire temperature transmitter. When the output already has a 24 Vdc supply to boot up the loop, it is called an active output.
The DAT10024 output ranges from 0 to 20000 steps in the mA style, that is equivalent to 1 uA, and from 0 to 10000 steps in the Voltage genre, which is equivalent to 1 mV.
