Capacitive Sensor - To Actually Detect Any Object

A capacitive sensor is a non-contact sensor that detects almost any object regardless of its material. For instance, this sensor can detect solid materials - metal, wood, plastic, and glass to name a few. It also can detect liquids like oil, water, and paint.

To detect these targets, a capacitive sensor emits an electrical field. It actually acts like a simple capacitor. The capacitive sensor can detect a target when the target disrupts this electrical field.

You can adjust almost all capacitive sensors’ detecting distance using their sensitivity adjuster.
